Hydrosols, also known as floral waters or essential waters, are the byproduct of the essential oil distillation process. They are a great alternative to essential oils for those with sensitive skin, more vulnerable groups from babies to the elderly, or for those who just want a softer, gentler version of the highly concentrated essential oil counterpart. Because of their water-based therapeutic properties, hydrosols can be applied directly to the skin as a body mist or in skincare formulas. We love them as a facial mist or a hair boost.
