Hydrosols, also known as floral waters or essential waters, are the byproduct of the essential oil distillation process. They are a great alternative to essential oils for those with sensitive skin, more vulnerable groups from babies to the elderly, or for those who just want a softer, gentler version of the highly concentrated essential oil counterpart. Because of their water-based therapeutic properties, hydrosols can be applied directly to the skin as a body mist or in skincare formulas. We love them as a facial mist or a hair boost. Most aromas are available in a 2oz or 4 oz size unless otherwise noted.

Chamomile- Primarily for cleaning, toning, and relaxing, but may also be soothing for eczema. For an extra boost consider MCT (medium chain triglyceride) oil and the chamomile essential oil as add in products for the chamomile hydrosol.
Eucalyptus- Great for refreshing your environment and promoting deep breaths during cold and flu season.
Helichrysum- May be used for skin irritations, to tone or illuminate tired skin, on cuts or bruises or to soothe inflammation. It is believed to brighten the hair and skin and soothe eczema. For an extra boost, add to MCT Oil and the Essential Oils of Helichrysum and Chamomile.
Lavender- Antibacterial and nice for an evening calm down. This one is also a great facial toner.
Lemongrass- May promote strong skin, skin tissues, and hair follicles.
Neroli Orange Blossom- Gentle and kind to the skin. It is a great facial toner.
Peppermint- Refreshing, invigorating, and cooling. It is wonderful for sunburn or hot flashes.
RoseWater Spritz- Used for thousands of years for a youthful and refreshed appearance. Known for its nourishing, skin-soothing properties. Since roses are au naturale, it’s green skin care at its best. Available in 4 oz only.
Rosemary- May stimulate the hair/scalp and add shine to the hair. Nice as an adjunct to bug repellent. No need to rinse out.
Tea Tree- Used to assist mild acne by tightening pores and removing excess oils.
Ylang Ylang- Can promote healthy hair, improve anxiety and boost the mood.
