DIY HERBAL MACERATED OILS~For Topical Use

I always say that I want to be able to, “help myself”. Don’t get me wrong, there is a place for Western Medicine, and I practiced it for over 30 years and still do. There are some other options for more simple things…minor abrasions, scrapes and bruises. Here are a few of our favorite macerated oils. Note: We do not treat anything or claim to cure/treat. The FDA has not evaluated these statements.

1. Place one ounce of dried herb (about a cup) in a quart jar.

2. Fill the jar to the top with extra virgin organic olive oil.

3. Cover and let sit in a sunny window for 30-60 days.

4. Strain and use utilize as desired (ingestion not recommended).

Dry herbs lose their potency within a year.

Our favorites:

Nettle

Arnica

Calendula

Dandelion

Vanilla

Have fun and enjoy!
