Goat's Milk Soap Started It All š§¼
At The Healing Place Farm, our very first product was a simple idea done exceptionally well: a creamy, nourishing bar of goat milk soap. It quickly became the foundation of everything we create because of how beautifully it supports the skinās natural barrierākeeping it hydrated, balanced, exfoliated, and truly nourished. āØ
The Power of Real Goat Milk š
Our goat milk is toxināfree and naturally rich in vitamins A, B1, B6, B12, C, D, and E, along with minerals like zinc, copper, iron, and selenium. Unlike many synthetic ingredients, goat milk can actually penetrate the skinās surface, delivering these nutrients where theyāre needed most. Itās reparative, soothing, and gentle enough for sensitive skin. š
Goat milk also contains alphaāhydroxy acid (lactic acid), a natural exfoliant that helps remove dead skin cells without irritation. Its saturated fats create a luxurious lather, while unsaturated fats deeply moisturizeābenefits youāll feel immediately in both our soaps and lotions. š«§
We raise our own goats or source milk from trusted farms, ensuring theyāre fed highāquality hay, minerals, and supplements. Healthy goats make exceptional milk, and exceptional milk makes exceptional soap. š¾š
Why Handmade Soap Matters š¤
Your skin is your largest organāyour frontline defense against the elements, microbes, and daily stressors. Many commercial soaps contain harsh ingredients like parabens, sulfates, phthalates, and synthetic detergents that strip the skin and disrupt its microbiome. š«
Handmade soap is different. Our bars are crafted with goat milk, extra virgin olive oil, coconut oil, and lye. During saponification, lye transforms these oils into true soapāleaving behind a bar that cleanses without compromising your natural protective barrier. Unlike commercial detergents, handmade soap retains its natural glycerin, helping your skin stay soft, hydrated, and resilient. šæ
If your skin feels dry or you find yourself reaching for more moisturizer, switching to a handmade bar may be the simplest, kindest change you can make. āØ
